programming between 6:00 , 9:25 am controlled itv breakfast (previously gmtv), who, having rebranded vast majority of gmtv children s output citv, use space simulcast programming @ weekends on itv network , citv breakfast on weekdays. itv takes on @ 9.25 am, controlling rest of day s programming. when first launched, gmtv used sell airtime channel, making first itv plc-owned channel not sold in-house sales team. airtime sales have been taken in-house itv.


some of channel s notable programming has been specially commissioned citv, such horrid henry, mr. bean: animated series, thunderbirds go!, , sooty. vast of other programmes sourced likes of disney, nickelodeon, , cartoon network.


mini citv

mini citv, launched on 2 november 2009, slot housed citv s pre-school programming. between 2009 , 2012, mini citv used shown weekdays in school term between 8:45 am 3 pm, , on weekends , school holidays between 6 am 7:25 am. itv used broadcast mini citv on weekend mornings, there used block called fluffy club between 2008 , 2010 on weekend mornings housed pre school programmes , used feature baby chick in between programmes. series of little animated spacemen characters called minis mascots of strand (similar yellow bugs of rival cbeebies). of 7 january 2013, mini citv name , mini mascots no longer used on-screen , 2 years later, (7 january 2015) citv withdrew of pre-school programming both weekday , weekend schedules exception of sooty programme.
