brown, drafted san francisco 49ers in fifth round (148th overall) in 2007 nfl draft. during rookie season, played in 9 games, particularly on special teams , finished season 2 tackles. brown partially tore anterior cruciate ligament , tore medial collateral ligament in week 17. expected fine @ start of training camp.


in week 16 of 2008 season, brown intercepted pass rams quarterback marc bulger in final minute of game, capping off come-from-behind win in fourth quarter.


in 2011, named starter @ right cornerback taking spot shawntae spencer. started sixteen games , had career-highs 4 interceptions , 14 pass deflections helped 49ers become 1 of elite defenses in nfl.


oakland raiders

brown agreed one-year deal worth $3.5 million oakland raiders in march 2014.
