matin varamin volleyball club founded in 2012 in varamin, iran, matin engineering company. matin placed in iranian super league 2012-13 season.


2012–13

in first season matin finished 2nd in league 42 points securing play-off spot. in semi-final round matin defeated saipa alborz 2 games 1 , advanced final, in faced kalleh. matin won first game, kalleh bounced winning remaining 2 games , winning super league.


2013–14

in second season, matin again finished second in league. time play-offs included quarter-final phase, , matin paired novin keshavarz in comfortably won. in semi-final matin faced mizan khorasan, matin again defeated opposition , advanced final , second straight year faced kalleh mazandaran. finals 1 match game in matin won 3 sets two, winning first title , clinching spot in asian club championships. matin won group , advanced quarter-finals in defeated chinese taipei 3 sets one. matin faced beijing motors in semi-final, beat beijing 3 sets none. in final paired persian gulf rivals al rayyan of qatar. matin proved no match al rayyan defeated qatari team 3 sets one. winning asian club championships secured spot in world club championships. in first group match, matin defeated 3 sets none brazilian club sada cruzeiro. in second match bounced defeating mets of cuba 3 sets none. in final group match, matin faced belogorie of russia. match had win advance out of group, unfortunately defeated 3 set one, , finished fifth overall.
