2011: formation , debut

nap entertainment revealed, named group in hopes girls become more real in talents through time since re young now, there side reference food item. thought of going innocent or r&b inspired name, netizens had lot of fun c-real since s easy remember , fun.


before debut, top producers support debut of group. girls debut album consists of work choi kap won @ lead, brave brothers, kim hoon, wheesung, pj, , shinsadong tiger. reason these pds banding support girl group because believe in talents girls have offer.


c-real released 2 different teasers music video of debut song before releasing full version on october 11, 2011 in loen entertainment s official youtube account. debut album round 1 released next day.


on november 2011, c-real started japanese career through route different peers. following debut showcase, girls put future contract auction, signing label provides best conditions. unlike other groups sign agency before heading over, girls using ‘posting system’, method favored professional baseball players. since debut in october, girls have been nicknamed ‘5-iu idols‘, has generated enough interest notin south korea, overseas well. have been receiving calls japan, how came idea debut.


on december 6, 2011, group participated in ost of flower boy ramen shop. song entitled not words.


c-real had first magazine pictorial on men s health december 2011 issue.


2012: love diary, sorry i, danger girl

c-real released comeback teaser music video of joma joma on march 1, 2012. full music video released on march 6, 2012 second mini album entitled love diary. started promoting song on m! countdown , other music programs. mini-album peaked @ no. 9 on gaon weekly albums chart on second week of march. promotional single joma joma landed on no. 27 in mnet music charts , crowned on 6th place in inki coloring top 100.


at beginning of march, group started trending on real time searching sites, placing 6th on naver , 7th in daum. on same month, c-real, other idols such ft island, ze:a , stellar, participated in hope concert multicultural families held in cheonggye square in seoul. started endorsing undefeated, clothing line in south korea.


on may 13, 2012, teaser first single, sorry revealed. full music video uploaded 2 days later. single released next day. song has been in upper ranks of charts since released, , ranked 8th on melon’s real-time chart. attracted attention entered top ten songs of iu, baek ji-young, girls generation-tts, sistar, ulala session, park jin-young, , busker busker.


2013 - present: lineup changes & disbandment rumours

in march 2013, n.a.p announced group going on indefinite hiatus due members returning school. n.a.p entertainment released statement telling fans not worry, , c-real releasing new music soon. c-real s official facebook page announced group restructured before next release, , posted photo of group trio (consisting of chemi, annj , effie), implying redee , lenny had left.


as group has been inactive since september 2014, many fans speculate group has disbanded. no official statement has been made n.a.p regarding rumours, , group still listed on company s website alongside image reads wait .
