male adults start sing (or stridulate) in july attract females of same species. stridulation occurs long time (with brief pauses), whilst weather hot , sunny. song characteristic of species allows easy identification experts. song consists of continuous penetrating buzzing, @ high pitch. sound similar of savi s warbler, or hiss of overhead electricity wires.
