the now-defunct moviebeam service used dntsc technology dotcast transmit 720p hdtv movies in lower vestigial sideband of ntsc analog tv. set-top box stored movies viewed on demand fee. distributed through pbs s national datacast.


tv guide on screen

tv guide on screen advertising-supported datacast sent 1 local station in each media market. supplements or replaces limited electronic program guide sent each tv station, mandated u.s. federal communications commission (fcc).


atsc-m/h
