on october 30, 2011, jones made first appearance bengals since injury in 2010. returned 1 punt 63 yards, , subsequently suffered hamstring injury , did not play rest of game. in january 2012, after publicly comparing houston texans wide receiver andre johnson unfavorably teammate a. j. green, jones burned on touchdown johnson in houston s 31–10 playoff victory on bengals.


on march 21, 2013, jones signed three-year deal remain bengals.


in 2015 wild card round loss against steelers, jones got fined $28,940 altercation steeler s assistant coach joey porter. after appeal, fine later reduced $12,500 nfl. second penalty called in succession brought steelers field-goal kicking distance, won game 18–16. porter fined $10,000 actions.


on march 9, 2016, jones signed three-year deal remain bengals.


jones suspended first game of 2017 season violating league s personal conduct policy.
