opposing fronts implements dynamic weather effects system consisting of real time weather effects , day-to-night time transitions. in addition these enhancements, particular birds sing @ various times of day , during specific weather patterns. although relic had indicated otherwise, dynamic weather effects system has no tactical impact on battlefield.


new single-player campaigns

opposing fronts introduces 2 new single player campaigns. campaigns feature gameplay british perspective , german perspective. british campaign based on liberation of caen. features 9 missions focusing on attack british , canadian forces sword, gold, , juno beaches city of caen. german panzer elite s campaign based on driving allied forces during operation market garden. features 8 playable missions following panzer elite kampfgruppe in occupied netherlands bracing 1 of largest airborne invasions in history.

company of heroes players able play against company of heroes: opposing fronts users. own both games can either play americans or british against wehrmacht or panzer elite. own company of heroes can play american or wehrmacht armies.
