the station has 4 island platforms serving 8 tracks. platforms 1 4 yamanote line, , 5 8 shared saikyō line, shōnan-shinjuku line, , rinkai line. Ōsaki 1 of stations on yamanote line loop trains put , taken out of service. therefore has 4 tracks (two in each direction) yamanote line not interfere continuing trains (trains go several rounds before being taken out). chest-high platform edge doors introduced on yamanote line platforms 22 december 2012.


there 2 sets of ticket barriers: north , south gates. north gate provides access east , west exits, while south gate provides access new east , new west exits.
