by late 1980s lindroth doing installation art craig newick work had caught attention of architecture league of new york. including in emerging voices in 1996 , received 3 annual design review awards in magazine i.d. 1990, 1991, , 1993. received grants , prizes through 1990s including second prize in african burial ground memorial competition , project storefront art , architecture. in 1995 grant humanities council of fairfield university installation high jump on moon, lindroth made , exhibited first large format digital prints. lindroth , newick did mini-golf hole decordova museum , sculpture park in lincoln, ma in 1995.


lindroth has received grants , fellowships connecticut commission on culture , tourism 1995-96, 2000, 2006, 2012, foundation contemporary performance arts, 1989, 1990. new jersey state council on arts (1974-75, 1983-84) , national endowment arts.


in 2002 lindroth, avid collector of vintage clothing, , deborah tornello published virtual vintage: insider’s guide buying , selling vintage clothing online random house. curated art exhibition entitled 101 dresses in honor of centennial of birth of eleanor estes in 2007 @ artspace in new haven. artist’s studio, short story, published in artis in 2005.
