the parish church of st mary blesséd virgin built in 15th century , restored in 19th century chancel william butterfield. grade listed building.the church has 15th-century eagle lectern , pulpit 1634.


charles fane de salis vicar in late 19th century, before becoming suffragan bishop of taunton.


a baptist chapel erected in 1852 , last used worship in 1955 before being converted private house.
