Etymology Duduk

the word duduk (armenian: դուդուկ) derived turkish düdük means whistle. word dudka in slavic languages diminutive of duda , of native proto-slavic origin.


this instrument not confused northwestern bulgarian folk instrument of same name (see below, balkan duduk).
