surveillance footage of johnson entering gymnasium shortly before died


in november 2013, 290 hours of surveillance tape 35 cameras covered gym area released cnn following court request. forensic analyst enlisted cnn found tapes 2 cameras missing hour , 5 minutes of footage, while set missing 2 hours , ten minutes of footage. cameras motion activated, , mat area believed outside camera s range. 2 cameras covered entrance gym before johnson s arrival, , showed student entering gym before kendrick johnson. there students standing near entrance gym.


attorneys johnson family have expressed fears camera footage edited part of cover-up . however, both president of valdosta-lowndes county chapter of sclc , former lead investigator chapter have stated believe attorneys johnsons have not been entirely truthful in statements , there no cover-up in case.
